My Hobbies

Small Tropical Freshwater Fish: 35 fish and 2 crabs thrive in our 55 gallon fish tank, swimming amongst live plants and large rocks.

My wife (Anita), oldest son (Willem), and I have given names to most of the fish and the two crabs. I enjoy sitting near the tank to watch the fish as they move about the tank. I usually watch the fish at night before going to bed.

The most of any one type of fish we have is 3. These fish are like a rainbow of color in motion. Most of the fish will not grow longer than 3 inches. A black pleco, named Mushu, and a sunset gourami (orange) are the fish we have had the longest. The sunset gourami even lets us touch her. Her name is Tobita. We have two cherry barbs, after buying them I noticed one is missing an eye. I thought that one would die, but we've had her since 8 Sept 01. The one with both eyes is called Peach, the one with one eye is named Blossom. We have a green painted glass fish named Petrie.

    My religious Beliefs

I know that there is a God and that Jesus Christ is His Son. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This church is lead by Jesus Christ through a prophet today. That prophet is Gordon B. Hinckley.

I know that the Bible contains the word of God. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ which supports the Bible. The Book of Mormon also contains the word of God. I know that scripture reading brings us closer to God and prepares us to meet Him again.
